Knowing When To Stop

Acceptance 2The Tao can’t be perceived.
Smaller than an electron,
it contains uncountable galaxies.
If powerful men and women
could remain centered in the Tao,
all things would be in harmony.
The world would become a paradise.
All people would be at peace,
and the law would be written in their hearts.
When you have names and forms,
know that they are provisional.
When you have institutions,
know where their functions should end.
Knowing when to stop,
you can avoid any danger.
All things end in the Tao
as rivers flow into the sea.

Abraham and Isaac 2Trust

With God all things are possible.

When things are going well in my life, it’s easy to have faith and trust. Yet doubt may surface if outcomes are less than what I expected.

During those times, I affirm: With God all things are possible. Even when I do not personally see a desired, completed result, I am faithfully aware of God’s presence and power. I know that in my guidance, planning, and actions, I am never alone. God is here, with and within me.

My faith in God never wavers. God is present. God is all-knowing. My faith is strong. I know with sureness of faith that with God all things are possible.

So we are always confident; even though we know that while we are at home in the body we are away from the Lord—for we walk by faith, not by sight.—2 Corinthians 5:6-7

StillnessFor morning and evening review:

I am one Self, united with my Creator.

Serenity and perfect peace are mine, because I am one Self,
completely whole, at one with all creation and with God.

Salvation comes from my one Self.

From my one Self, Whose knowledge still remains within my mind,
I see God’s perfect plan for my salvation perfectly fulfilled.

On the hour: I am one Self, united with my Creator.

On the half hour: Salvation comes from my one Self.

Hand in Hand with God. . . Is Constant

Walk each day in childlike faith, with your hand clasped in the hand of the Master. That hand is the hand of truth, it is security, it will never fail you. Earthly men may fail you but never your Master. And in seeking your Master, let this thought help you, that you will find him, you will see him and hear his voice speaking to you, when you have learnt to overcome the ‘not-self,’ and to think always and speak as your higher self commands.
