The Good Steward

KarrmaKnowing others is intelligence;
knowing yourself is true wisdom.
Mastering others is strength;
mastering yourself is true power.
If you realize that you have enough,
you are truly rich.
If you stay in the center
and embrace death with your whole heart,
you will endure forever.

Tao Te Ching v33

Global CollaborationGood Stewards

I bless the earth through my loving thoughts and actions.

My loving thoughts and actions are an extension of myself—reaching out to bless my life, my relationships, and my community. I extend my reach to include the earth as well.

The natural resources available nourish and sustain humankind, so of course I want to be a good steward of what God has provided. If I see litter left behind, I throw it away. I take care not to harm the earth in any way, and I make choices that benefit the earth’s inhabitants by recycling whenever possible.

This magnificent planet blesses us with food to eat, water to drink, and oxygen to breath. Earth is our home, and I commit to doing my part to be a good steward.

The earth is the Lord’s and all that is in it, the world, and those who live in it; for he has founded it on the seas, and established it on the rivers.—Psalm 24:1-2

StillnessFor morning and evening review:

Light and joy and peace abide in me.

I am the home of light and joy and peace.
I welcome them into the home I share with God,
because I am a part of Him.

I am as God created me.

I will remain forever as I was,
created by the Changeless like Himself.
And I am one with Him, and He with me.

On the hour: Light and joy and peace abide in me.

On the half hour: I am as God created me.

Worship The Lord Thy God

Don’t bow down to mammon, and all the material difficulties and problems of the world. If instead you will turn to worship God with all your heart, soul and mind, all the cares of mortal life will be dissolved, because they will have no part in you, no abiding place in your heart. The Christ in you can deal in a masterly way with these perplexities.
