We join spokes together in a wheel,
but it is the center hole
that makes the wagon move.
We shape clay into a pot,
but it is the emptiness inside
that holds whatever we want.
We hammer wood for a house,
but it is the inner space
that makes it livable.
We work with being,
but non-being is what we use.
Tao Te Ching v11
The Christ Light illumines my way.
I may sometimes feel as if I am frozen in place on my spiritual journey. At such times, I acknowledge the natural ebb and flow of life. Just as the sun rises above snow-covered mountains and shines its life-giving light, warming the snow and ice into water, God’s love is available to transform me.
I close my eyes and remember my oneness with the Divine. The Christ Light illumines my way, guiding me to the warmth of divine love. I experience the truth of my being—I am one with all the love in the Universe.
Every moment in the Silence deepens my awareness of my connection, and I feel at peace knowing my way is illumined. If a shadow of doubt should appear, I gently remind myself: The Christ Light illumines my way.
I love those who love me, and those who seek me diligently find me.–Proverbs 8:17
I can be free of suffering today.
Father, I thank You for today, and for the freedom I am certain it will bring. This day is holy, for today Your Son will be redeemed. His suffering is done. For he will hear Your Voice directing him to find Christ’s vision through forgiveness, and be free forever from all suffering. Thanks for today, my Father. I was born into this world but to achieve this day, and what it holds in joy and freedom for Your holy Son and for the world he made, which is released along with him today.
Be glad today! Be glad! There is no room for anything but joy and thanks today. Our Father has redeemed His Son this day. Not one of us but will be saved today. Not one who will remain in fear, and none the Father will not gather to Himself, awake in Heaven in the Heart of Love.

Seek The Greater, Let The Lesser Go
We would remind you very tenderly that you pay too much attention to earthly values. We do not mean you should neglect your earthly duties, but we suggest that you should get a clearer understanding of the relative values of spiritual and early things; for so much that you consider necessary and important to you is not important. If you will see always the stillness, the peaceful spirit of the Lord Christ, you will find that through this you open the windows of your soul, and the light of the Christ Spirit will flood your soul and life; and that which seemed to you to be a trouble and an anxiety will be absorbed into the light.
