The Tao can’t be perceived.
Smaller than an electron,
it contains uncountable galaxies.
If powerful men and women
could remain centered in the Tao,
all things would be in harmony.
The world would become a paradise.
All people would be at peace,
and the law would be written in their hearts.
When you have names and forms,
know that they are provisional.
When you have institutions,
know where their functions should end.
Knowing when to stop,
you can avoid any danger.
All things end in the Tao
as rivers flow into the sea.
Tao Te Ching v32
God guides me on my unique path.
When I start something new I remember I am a channel for the work of God. I do not fix my gaze on a faraway goal and wonder how I will get there. Instead, I confidently take the first step then open my mind to guidance. At times I may stumble or think I have taken a wrong turn, then Spirit reveals the value of my crooked path.
I discover ways to do good wherever I am. Just as a great distance is covered in many small steps, a great work is the culmination of many small acts of kindness, compassion, and generosity. I take each step, no matter how small it seems, assured that God guides me on my unique path to doing good.
For we are what he has made us, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand to be our way of life.—Ephesians 2:10
What limits can I lay upon God’s Son?
Whom God created limitless is free. I can invent imprisonment for him, but only in illusions, not in truth. No Thought of God has left its Father’s Mind. No Thought of God is limited at all. No Thought of God but is forever pure. Can I lay limits on the Son of God, whose Father willed that he be limitless, and like Himself in freedom and in love?
Today let me give honor to Your Son, for thus alone I find the way to You. Father, I lay no limits on the Son You love and You created limitless. The honor that I give to him is Yours, and what is Yours belongs to me as well.

. . . Is Patient, Trusting In God’s Goodness And His Perfect Plan
Live Tranquilly In God
Patience really means confidence in God, knowing that God has you in His care. God, the Great White Spirit, is all around you and in you and is working out a wise and beautiful purpose in your soul. Do not live with the feeling that you must get over the ground as quickly as possible to reach a certain point. Just live every moment, every hour, every day, tranquilly in the protective love of God, taking the hours as they come and doing one thing at a time, quietly.
