Empty your mind of all thoughts.
Let your heart be at peace.
Watch the turmoil of beings,
but contemplate their return.
Each separate being in the universe
returns to the common source.
Returning to the source is serenity.
If you don’t realize the source,
you stumble in confusion and sorrow.
When you realize where you come from,
you naturally become tolerant,
kindhearted as a grandmother,
dignified as a king.
Immersed in the wonder of the Tao,
you can deal with whatever life brings you,
and when death comes, you are ready.
Tao Te Ching v16
My thoughts and actions contribute to peace in the world.
Gallon upon gallon of rain water clarifies the muddiest of lakes. Collective prayer brings about similar results. Trusting this principle, I affirm world peace daily. I am one with brothers and sisters all over the world affirming peace.
My prayers for world peace lead me to more inner peace. When I hear news about war or conflict, I still my mind and affirm peace. I deny energy to disharmony and focus on the presence of peace.
As I center on the Christ within, I radiate peace in every interaction—from a conversation with a stranger to a heart-to-heart with a loved one. My thoughts, prayers, and actions contribute to peace in the world.
When the ways of people please the Lord, he causes even their enemies to be at peace with them.—Proverbs 16:7
My holy vision sees all things as pure.
Father, Your Mind created all that is, Your Spirit entered into it, Your Love gave life to it. And would I look upon what You created as if it could be made sinful? I would not perceive such dark and fearful images. A madman’s dream is hardly fit to be my choice, instead of all the loveliness with which You blessed creation; all its purity, its joy, and its eternal, quiet home in You.
And while we still remain outside the gate of Heaven, let us look on all we see through holy vision and the eyes of Christ. Let all appearances seem pure to us, that we may pass them by in innocence, and walk together to our Father’s house as brothers and the holy Sons of God.

. . . Bears No Resentment
Do not be discouraged. Learn not to be disappointed in anything, or any person. You are disappointed because your will, you desire, has been frustrated. Learn to submit to the Divine Will, for his Will is all-wise. Wait, then, for His appointments, learning to tread the path wisely, serenely.
