Shadows and Light

ImaginationThe Tao is called the Great Mother:
empty yet inexhaustible,
it gives birth to infinite worlds.
It is always present within you.
You can use it any way you want.

WisdomRemembrance
I remember the gifts of all who have passed.
On days when the nation comes together in remembering, I pray for those who mourn. I may attend a memorial service, concert, or prayer circle. Regardless of the method I choose, I honor those who have passed as I affirm peace for their families and in the world.
I also remember the anniversaries of the passing of my own loved ones. I give thanks for their wit and wisdom, their help and love. I am who I am because of their part in my life. I honor who they were and their contribution to the world. How blessed I am for family, friends, teachers, mentors—for all of those who have helped me grow. I remember them today with heartfelt gratitude and love.
Then he took a loaf of bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it and gave it to them, saying, “Do this in remembrance of me.”—Luke 22:19

Rising ConsciousnessMy Self is ruler of the universe.
It is impossible that anything should come to me unbidden by myself. Even in this world, it is I who rule my destiny. What happens is what I desire. What does not occur is what I do not want to happen. This must I accept. For thus am I led past this world to my creations, children of my will, in Heaven where my holy Self abides with them and Him Who has created me.
You are the Self Whom You created Son, creating like Yourself and One with You. My Self, which rules the universe, is but Your Will in perfect union with my own, which can but offer glad assent to Yours, that it may be extended to Itself.

God's Wisdom. . . Is A Tower Of Strength And Light
When Shadows Group Around You
As a servant of the Christ you must never lack courage. It is a temptation to do so, for shadows group around you and tempt you to be weary, to have no confidence; they tempt you to say, ‘I am no use,’ to have what you call an inferiority complex. Never doubt the power of God to work through you. To think you are no good is to doubt God’s power.
