The tao that can be told
is not the eternal Tao
The name that can be named
is not the eternal Name.
The unnamable is the eternally real.
Naming is the origin
of all particular things.
Free from desire, you realize the mystery.
Caught in desire, you see only the manifestations.
Yet mystery and manifestations
arise from the same source.
This source is called darkness.
Darkness within darkness.
The gateway to all understanding.
Tao Te Ching v1
I live in the present with joyous abandon!
When I see children laughing and having fun on a playground, I may long for the same kind of carefree existence. Yet as a child of God, I am always free. Focusing my attention on thoughts of faith and love, I rise above seeming limitation. I release the past and live in the present with joyous abandon!
As a spiritual being, I use my God-given power to choose my thoughts. I keep my attention on the highest and best, and good flows into every part of my life. I become a new and confident person. My world expands to greater heights than I could have ever imagined. My mind is at rest. I am at peace. Thank God I am joyous and free!
For freedom Christ has set us free. Stand firm, therefore, and do not submit again to a yoke of slavery.–Galatians 5:1
Whatever suffers is not part of me.
I have disowned the truth. Now let me be as faithful in disowning falsity. Whatever suffers is not part of me. What grieves is not myself. What is in pain is but illusion in my mind. What dies was never living in reality, and did but mock the truth about myself. Now I disown self-concepts and deceits and lies about the holy Son of God. Now am I ready to accept him back as God created him, and as he is.
Father, my ancient love for You returns, and lets me love Your Son again as well. Father, I am as You created me. Now is Your Love remembered, and my own. Now do I understand that they are one.

Men Look To You
Do not be beguiled by the abstractions of materialism, or by the sorrows and anxieties which your karma brings. Have courage, for so many depend on you, your thoughts, your attitude; men are looking to you and unconsciously recognize in you a Light. They know that you have something which is helpful and good. Keep the Light shining in your heart and mind, and remember the great privilege which has been given to you to help lead man onward and upward to the glorious Morning Star.
