When a country obtains great power,
it becomes like the sea:
all streams run downward into it.
The more powerful it grows,
the greater the need for humility.
Humility means trusting the Tao,
thus never needing to be defensive.
A great nation is like a great man:
When he makes a mistake, he realizes it.
Having realized it, he admits it.
Having admitted it, he corrects it.
He considers those who point out his faults
as his most benevolent teachers.
He thinks of his enemy
as the shadow that he himself casts.
If a nation is centered in the Tao,
if it nourishes its own people
and doesn’t meddle in the affairs of others,
it will be a light to all nations in the world.

I am free, spontaneous, and unlimited!
Each new sunrise brings me joyful anticipation for the day ahead. Nature wakes up as the dew evaporates. Cities become alive with people buying coffee before work. The same things seem to happen every day, yet no two days are exactly the same. Each moment of life is spontaneous and unique.
Before rising, I feel the energy of Spirit moving in me. I am the life of God, spontaneous, unlimited, and free! I pray in deep gratitude for the blessing of waking up and living this day.
I stay connected to God by taking frequent prayer breaks. I listen carefully for Spirit’s gentle and wise guidance and follow it with fearless joy. I dare to be spontaneous, joyful, and unique!
Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.—2 Corinthians 3:17
This is my holy instant of release.
Father, it is today that I am free, because my will is Yours. I thought to make another will. Yet nothing that I thought apart from You exists. And I am free because I was mistaken, and did not affect my own reality at all by my illusions. Now I give them up, and lay them down before the feet of truth, to be removed forever from my mind. This is my holy instant of release. Father, I know my will is one with Yours.
And so today we find our glad return to Heaven, which we never really left. The Son of God this day lays down his dreams. The Son of God this day comes home again, released from sin and clad in holiness, with his right mind restored to him at last.

. . . Is Wise In Speech And Action
The way to truth is through the spirit. In the outer world is turmoil and chaos and unhappiness. You think with the mortal mind, with the mind which is a part of the substance of the earth. You should think with your inner mind; you should approach problems through the inner self, the intuition. The very work explains itself. In-tuition – training inside yourself. You are looking outside for help, and all the time the help you want is inside. The world of spirit that so many of you talk about and believe in, and long to touch, is all within.
