Compassion and Understanding

Master's GovernanceIn harmony with the Tao,
the sky is clear and spacious,
the earth is solid and full,
all creature flourish together,
content with the way they are,
endlessly repeating themselves,
endlessly renewed.
When man interferes with the Tao,
the sky becomes filthy,
the earth becomes depleted,
the equilibrium crumbles,
creatures become extinct.
The Master views the parts with compassion,
because he understands the whole.
His constant practice is humility.
He doesn’t glitter like a jewel
but lets himself be shaped by the Tao,
as rugged and common as stone.
Tao Te Ching v39

GrowthPatience
I wait patiently, knowing I am able to do all that is mine to do.
In Alice in Wonderland, the rabbit says, “The hurrier I go, the behinder I get.” At times, this may seem like my mantra. Life moves so quickly I think I will never catch up. This way of thinking may tempt me to hurry through tasks. However, rushing may lead to delays, mistakes, and damaged relationships.
Today I release thoughts of not having enough time and embrace God’s gift of patience. Charles Fillmore said, “Patience has its foundation in faith, and it is perfected only in those who have unwavering faith in God.” He advised we maintain an attitude of poise, inner calm, and quiet endurance.
I let go of any hurry and ground myself in the Silence. I wait patiently, knowing I am able to do all that is mine to do.
Bear fruit with patient endurance.—Luke 8:15

Happiness Beyond Your DreamsI am not a body. I am free.
For I am still as God created me.
I want the peace of God.
The peace of God is everything I want. The peace of God is
my one goal; the aim of all my living here, the end I seek,
my purpose and my function and my life, while I abide
where I am not at home.
I am not a body. I am free.
For I am still as God created me.

What have we learned. . . Is Calm, Quiet And Steady
Seek First The Kingdom
Man has to learn to seek first the kingdom of heaven, the place of stillness and quiet at the highest level of which he is capable, and then heavenly influences can pour into him, recreate him and use him for the salvation of mankind.
