A Very Special Love Letter

Aimee McCrayEvery once in a while, if you are lucky, you meet a fresh and vibrant soul with a wisdom beyond their years. Now if that person happens to possess remarkable communication skills the encounter is all the richer. Several weeks ago I had such a chance encounter (if you believe in those things).

So without further ado meet Aimee McCray and her beautiful message, P.S. – I LOVE YOU AIMEE MCCRAY.

When I was a little girl, I vividly remember my grandfather consistently singing to me Frank Sinatra’s, “Once in love with Amy, always in love with Amy”. The way he sang the melody still lingers in my mind and resonates in my heart. Sadly, at times I forget how loved I am. I have my moments that I feel alone, even when I am bombarded by friend’s calls, texts, and emails. I am a person that reflects a lot and have heard that I over think things too often. That’s OK with me; it has made me a more compassionate and empathetic person. I am also an extremely emotional person that looks at life in so many different ways, that I lose sight of my own life’s beautiful melody.
Life is a string of solos and ensembles, but I have learned that harmonizing throughout is the key. I am in the intermission of my life, and I want my words to inspire my ending, so I have decided to write a love letter to myself, so that I continue to be inspired by all the amazing things that I have accomplished and what has yet to come my way.
Now read her letter to self . . .

Thanks Aimee for this beautiful message and insight! I know it will inspire many and we are looking forward to hearing more from you.
